Positive: It is a beautiful house with an amazing view. There's plenty of privacy, as the rooms are spread across three floors. It was nice to have a private parking space.

Negative: It should be made VERY CLEAR that the house is only accessible via a sizable stairwell. This is not mentioned anywhere in the description or in the pictures or video. It was a bit of a shock pulling in the driveway at night, in the rain, and realizing we had to lug our suitcases down two flights of stairs with no outdoor lighting! I probably would not have booked this location if I had known. And while there is a small kitchen, there are almost no cooking utensils, which made it very difficult to self-cater. As a chef, I was looking forward to cooking with local fresh produce, but it was not to be. Very disappointed. Also the air conditioning never seemed to work properly. At least one of the remote controls didn't work at all, and we couldn't get it to stay on. Finally, we experienced a power outage during our stay, and had virtually no power for almost two days. I understand that storms happen, and there was not much to be done about the loss of power, but there was virtually NO COMMUNICATION with the property manager. They never reached out to us when the power was lost, and we had to call and email them multiple times just to find out what was going on. eventually they called back and stopped by to check it out, but tey should have been far more proactive about it.

Summary: Lovely house but SO MANY STAIRS!
