Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location is excellent — just a few minutes’ walk from the Arc de Triomphe, and the hotel sits on a quiet cul‑de‑sac, which makes the area feel very peaceful. There are plenty of shops around, including coffee places, boulangeries, and a small fresh market with fish, fruit, and meat. The neighbourhood is full of restaurants too, with a delicious fondue spot and a ramen place only a short walk away, plus several supermarkets nearby.

Negative: The room was very small — comfortable enough for one person travelling alone, but it would feel tight for anyone else. The shower was also quite cramped, and getting in and out was awkward because the door couldn’t fully open between the toilet and the sink. The hotel could improve its housekeeping system: there’s no “Do Not Disturb” sign, and even after saying “no” loudly when they knocked, the cleaning staff still entered the room twice. It made the stay feel less private and a bit uncomfortable.
