Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The villa is a lovely property, set 10-15 mins (walking) from Roda. It's secluded and quiet so you'll have no issue relaxing and unwinding here. The pool size is brilliant, there is also a smaller pool attached that we didn't use as much but we made lots of use with the pool with 4x guests. The kitchen facilities are good and we had a mixture of meals in and out. We'd highly recommend the Mexican Restaurant and Roda Park Restaurant in Roda. The villa host lives nearby and is very responsive. We had an issue with the key fob on the gate not responding but he was onsite within 20 mins or so. He was very friendly

Negative: The pool floor was quite rough on our feet with a couple of the guests having cuts from the pool floor being so rough. We also noticed the pool overflow grates were dirty - the pool itself was very clean though. Whilst this wasn't ideal, we had an excellent time at Villa Popi. Roda is a short walk away but there isn't any pavements so if you walk to town it's just via the side of the road which is fairly busy in the evenings.
