The flats to rent, just restructured, are in a traditional house, located in the historical centre of Sinarades one of the hundred most beautiful villages of Greece.
In the house there are 3 flats to rent(2x4people, 1x2people)
Flat 1 and 2 (for 4 people each):
Two double rooms with ceiling fan. One of the rooms has near the window a “drawing area” with a table and four comfortable sitting places.
Bathroom with shower and hot water
Kitchen fully equipped with refrigerator and full equipment for cooking
Private courtyard with table and 4 chairs for eating outdoor.
We speak fluently English, German, French, Italian and a little Spanish.
We send to our guests a file with the list of the facilities (beaches, shops, swimming-pools, restaurants,……) of Sinarades and nearby and how to join them. To the people that like walking, we supply a guide with some walks in Central Corfu (the Sinarades area)
Sinarades is in Corfu (Kerkyra) green and full of flowers island, 12 km from Corfu town, 11 km from the airport and 13 km from the harbour.
Sinarades is shaped in two parts:
-Sinarades village with his characteristic streets, shops, bars and Taberna, starting base for walks in the nature ( we supply a guide with ways)
-Agios Gordis is the marina with shops, restaurants, equipped beaches (1 km long) and wild beaches (3 km long) 2,5 km away from the village. It is easy to reach the beach walking and to return walking or by bus (200 m of difference in level.
Sinarades has totally maintained its traditions, safeguarding its charm as regards its natural environment, too. A Greek corner untouched by tourist groups where it is still possible to live at old time rhythms, bathed in natural sounds. Not a village transformed into a tourist-commercial centre. A place of peace and relax, but you have some nice Greek bars and tabernas (restaurants) where a beer costs 2/2,5 €, a Greek salad 6/7€ and a normal meal 12/15€including drink , an internet cafè, a motorbike rent point where you can rent a motorbike or a quad for 2 . Quad is a very popular way for tourists for moving around the island. Generally speaking prices are a lot lower than in most Europe.
For people that like hiking, beautiful pathways offer unique experiences with astonishing panoramic views. We have also a guide-book for walks in central Corfu (Sinarades area) easy to medium walks.
In Sinarades there are food shops , a pharmacy and an ambulatory where they understand English and Italian, a public phone and a bus stop to the beach or to Corfù town. At Corfù island you do not have the Melteni wind and the climate in summer is dry.
Sinarades is located 200 meter high ; a little wind blows at sunset and at night it is a little cooler and dry. Sinarades is 300 metres in a bee line from the sea but by road is 2.5 km away. You can easily walk to the beach and come back by bus (to avoid the slope!). The beach is called Agios Gordis and it is 3/4 km long and mostly sandy. The first 400 meters have bars , restaurants and beach-umbrella but further it is completely free and wild. At Agios Gordis beach some bars have a swimming pool free for guests.
5/8/10 km from the village you can find other beaches and small bays with crystal-clear waters.
Corfu Island is specialy interesting for the sea and ambience quality, for the Venetian City charm end it keeps very low prices and the magiority of beaches are free.
Corfù town is a UNESCO historical site and here you can find monuments, fortresses, castle, museum, elegant shops open at night, restaurants , pubs ,dancing clubs ,concert halls and nightlife, almost in an “old Venice ambience”.
At 6 km from our village you also have the 18 hole Corfù Golf Club and a horse riding club which arreng horse rideng tours.
From the airport you can reach Sinarades by taxi, shuttle bus (you have to book in advance through the website), public bus.
