Positive: The house itself was tidy and felt spacious enough for 6 people. It’s a little aged but felt homely and comfortable. The location was good as it was a short walk to Callala Bay and Callala Beach. Definitely one of my favourite areas of NSW.

Negative: The address is listed on booking as Myola but it is not in Myola. The host requires you to access an external link and provide ID and credit card which feels very scammy and gave me anxiety. I was preparing a plan B in case I showed up and the property didn’t exist. Just a warning too… there is no dryer at the house so if it rains for days like it did during our stay, you might find it hard to dry clothes, towels etc. Also to save you time, the matches for the BBQ are in a draw in the laundry.

Summary: Comfortable home in a great location but scammy feels from the booking process.
