1 Bedroom Apartment in Albufeira
First of all, thank you for your interest in our apartment!
Luxury, recently (2019) refurbished 2 + 2 person apartment with hall, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room. Balcony with truly magnificent view of the sea and to the port of Albufeira, oriented to the southwest. With air conditioning in both the living room and bedroom!
The apartment was refurbished in January 2019, has been completely renovated, refurbished and much more so you can be sure that you will find a beautiful apartment for an unforgettable holiday. All walls repainted, much of the furniture renewed, kitchen interior renewed and supplemented with, among other things, a microwave, coffee machine, kettle, dishwasher, fridge-freezer combination, etc. fully equipped. New bedding and towels, new TV (including international channels) and much more. Too many to mention... We are very happy with the result!
The luxury apartment is located on a higher situated quiet complex between the old center and the port of Albufeira. Because of this both the old center, the harbor as well as the beach are within walking distance although you do have some height differences to get there so with a wheelchair we would advise against doing this on foot. The apartment is located on the 2nd floor, with only a penthouse above you, so partly because of that beautiful views. Underneath each apartment block (resort consists of 11 blocks of on average 13 apartments) there is also a parking garage where each apartment has its own place from where you can easily go to your floor with the groceries with the elevator. So you can go up or down with the stairs or with the elevator. The balcony is located on the south-west so depending on the time of the year from mid morning to the sun sets! And because of its location, that beautiful view to the sea and the harbor. Photos say more than 1000 words, but you may already have seen that.
You enter the apartment in a spacious hall where you have access to all rooms. Starting with the bedroom which has 2 single beds (90x200cm) which are made up as a double bed, fitted wardrobes and air conditioning. Also access to the balcony. There is a separate bathroom with sink, whirlpool bath and toilet next to the bedroom. In the corridor there is also cupboard space with things like an ironing board and drying rack and of course space for your things. Then you come to the kitchen which is fully equipped; dishwasher, fridge, freezer, gas hob, coffee maker, kettle, microwave etc. Also from the kitchen there is access to the balcony. Next to the kitchen is the living room with dining table for 4 people, comfortable seating area with sofa bed (145x200cm), TV, air conditioning and of course access to the balcony. Outside you will find a garden set consisting of a table, chairs and sun beds to enjoy the sun and views.

The Encosta da Orada resort is a nice quietly set up private resort consisting of 11 blocks of apartments and a spacious, very well maintained, green communal garden. There is a beautiful swimming pool spread over two levels with a waterfall, varying depths so there is something for everyone. There is also a tennis court (free use) at the resort. From the resort it is approximately 800 meters to the old town, the harbor and the beach of Albufeira. Do you have transport or do you go by bus or taxi the path there are within 10km several beautiful small beaches among the rocks where it is wonderful to spend a day and can often be enjoyed with a sunset in one of the many beach restaurants. In other words, there is something for everyone!

Below some more comments in response to questions from previous guests who have booked an apartment with us;
- unfortunately there is no bbq present, this is not allowed on the balcony / resort.
- regular times for check-in (after 3:00 PM) and check-out times are (before 10:00 AM) but if possible (guests, cleaning etc.) sooner or later is no problem.
- do not drink water from the tap, but purchase bottled water in the supermarkets.
- do not leave a key inside the door, if you are locked outside it must be broken open.
- Portugal uses 'normal' European sockets.
- the emergency number in emergencies is european 112
