Hacienda Chekul is our newest, fully-staffed, beach front villa in the private and ultra-luxe Sian Kaan Reserve – just outside of Tulum, Mexico. Chekul means “where the spirit soars” in Mayan and upon entering the six-acre jungle estate, one can truly feel the name sake. From the classic hacienda architecture, designed by renowned architect Salvador Reyes Rios and the sound of tropical birds to the dreamy ocean view and kind and attentive staff, it’s hard not to feel your spirit soar and your cares left behind. The four-bedroom villa sits on 100 meters of pristine white beach as well as the Campeche lagoon, a famous fishing destination just on the other side. In keeping with the strict sustainability standards of the Sian Kaan, the villa is one level with a stunning roof top infinity pool which enjoys unparalleled views of the, jungle and lagoon. The two master suites are located just off the main house and each features a king bed and en-suite bathroom with shower. All four-bedrooms also have AC, satellite TV, ceiling fans, mosquito screens and in-room safes. The second master boasts a bonus outdoor shower. The final two suites are inside the main house, tucked just off the living area. The king suite has an en-suite bathroom with tub and shower, while the fourth bedroom has two double beds and an outdoor shower.
