Take a well earned break and relax in Rye. This nicely located double storey house in quiet street is within 1 Km of fabulous Rye back-beach and 3 Km's from Rye main beach and the vibrant Rye shopping strip including Rye Hotel, restaurants, coffee shops and a wide variety of interesting craft, clothes and ice cream shops. There is parking on site for a car and boat or at least 4 cars.
Golf courses including The Dunes, Moonah Links and Eagle Ridge are close by and the world rated St Andrews beach is a 10 minute drive. Peninsula Hot Springs is very close and is becoming a very popular attraction.
There are some excellent walking tracks running along the back-beach from Rosebud all the way through to Sorrento and access to these tracks is less than 1 km from the house.
The House has two queen sized bedrooms on upper level and another 6 beds in remaining two bedrooms downstairs. In bedroom 3 there is a double bed with a king size single above, together with a standard 2 single bunk setup in this room making accommodation for 5. A separate single bed and a standard 2 single bunk bed, accommodating 3, in the fourth bedroom complete the sleeping arrangements. There is also a fold out double bed in living room sofa if required. Ideal for two families.
A modern kitchen with Ceasarstone benchtops is the central point of the house. The kitchen stools around the island bench are an ideal spot for a leisurely read of the morning papers over a coffee. It has high quality rangehood, gas cooktop and electric oven and modern appliances incl dishwasher, coffee maker and microwave. Everything for the creative chef or ideal for a hearty breakfast feast. The large dining table can accommodate big families.
There is a good sized bathroom and toilet with a double shower and generous double bowl sink on upper level and a multi outlet spa bath with an overhead shower plus toilet and sink on lower level.
The large windows and polished timber floor in the living areas create a bright and open space with a massive sofa covered in cushions. This living area has a Coonara heater and reverse cycle Air-conditioning and is an ideal area for playing board games or watching the TV or one of the many DVD's available. The large sliding door from the living area leads out to a large covered deck area with outdoor setting and 4 burner BBQ and Gas heater. A lovely retreat for an evening glass of wine. There is also a fire-pit in the rear yard where you can relax under the stars and watch the flames flicker.
Small but well designed laundry has washing machine, clothes dryer, ironing board and standard trough sink. There is a clothesline in rear of property.
An information folder is provided with local attractions, wineries, restaurants, take away food options, operating instructions for appliances and equipment and contact details for emergency services and local service providers.
Available for family holidays but strictly no Schoolies.
