The building where Casa Azabache lies is a traditional house from the 19th century. It preserves its original architectural style: facade finished by parapet, interior courtyards, corridors and an eave arranged in the form of L, supported by wooden columns. Private rooms are built around the porch.
At Casa Azabache, most of the adobe walls, up to 60 cm wide, are still standing, as are the wooden structures, the two-story ceilings with mud tiles, and a "tapanco" built with wooden beams.
