Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Great location across from the chateau. Charming entree and parking really nearby. The cleaning lady saved the say for the hotel because she did her best to care for me when i was sick (while the rest of the hotel staff didn't).

Negative: The room was just too small. I could barely walk around the bed. The bathroom is ridiculously small, i felt like i was in a caravan or something. Also, the bar staff and restaurant staff was not very attentive. One day I was ill and I asked in the evening for a lump of bread with some 'confiture', and I was told they didn't have that on the menu. i explained that I couldn't eat normally because of digestion issues and asked to make an exception and please just give me some bread to chew on, and it took me 10 minutes to convince them. The big problem was 'we can't put that on your bill because it's not in our system'. i told them to charge it as a breakfast to me. Answer:'but it's the evening'. All in all completely oblivious to the circumstances. On the other hand, when the cleaning lady found me sick in bed, she was super helpful, and offered me all kinds of help to be better (water, food, even to go to the pharmacy for me) The cleaning lady had a much better attitude than the bar staff. The restaurant at breakfast was super uncomfortable: it was dead silent (they forgot to put on some music or so) and the staff was continuously whispering to each other... very weird.
