Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location is relatively close to the city center and some supermarkets. The host was nice and chill, she was pretty available on WhatsApp and she brought whatever we needed and she gave us two bottle of Greek wine as a gift. The washing machine is a nice amenity. The place inside looks nice, some irrational interior design choices but things are new. There are free and always available parking spaces next to the house. There is breakfast for an additional price, we didn't use it but I guess it's a plus.

Negative: There are no pictures of the whole accommodation so we thought we were renting a little villa on it's own, turns out there are two floors above you and it's one of many apartments. There was a really bad smell (probably sewers) lingering around the house. You could smell it a lot in of the (two) main bedrooms, so it was bad during sleeping. The other room had a weird gas smell. There are a lot of ants everywhere. A lot of cats (that we knew nothing about) so it also smells like cat litter in the garden where you'd sit. The cats get in everything you got outside, so if you have allergies (or simply don't want street cat hair in your clean clothes), you will be facing a significant challenge. Some of the cats even went in the house (we don't know from where, all windows and the main door have mosquito nets). There is no scheduled cleaning included in the price (don't know about other experiences but wherever I've stayed the cleaning was organized by the host).

Summary: A little bit of a let down, but this vacation was about who you're with, not where you stay :)
